Armillary Sphere

An armillary sphere is a model of objects in the sky, consisting of a spherical framework of either partial or complete rings, centered on Earth or the Sun, that represent lines of celestial longitude and latitude and other astronomically important features, such as the ecliptic.

This particular one is cast iron, and stands 13¼" tall and 9" across the widest part. It has a brown antique-looking painted finish. For indoor decorative use only, please. Ships in two pieces, which easily connect with the provided decorative finial.

A note on our cast iron items: All of these are sand-cast. The surfaces can have bumps and other irregularities, and the painted finishes will vary in consistency. These are not considered defects and just add to the overall vintage/creepy look of the items.
