Too Hot to Handle

After our initial excitement and all the preparation, we ended up not going to Lancaster Pride because of the weather. We've vended in downpours, in snow and sleet, and on other very hot days. However, when the National Weather Service forecast for high temperatures starts using words like "dangerous" and "extreme" and "record-breaking", well, it seemed like a good idea to not risk it. In over five years of being in business, this was the first event we've had to back out of.
It was not a wasted day, though. We spent the weekend working on stained glass and new Clockwork Critters, with a few Mooshy Monsters for good measure. These will all be posted on Facebook as they're finished, and available for sale a day or two afterwards. .
